Carter began her wrestling debut on April 18, 1998, at Power Pro Wrestling in Jonesboro, Arkansas. on August 1999, she appeared as Miss Kitty on Raw is War, the main show of the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). She defeated Ivory, Jacqueline, and Barbara “BB” Bush in the Four Corners Evening Gown Pool competition by tugging and tearing off their dresses. Stary Carter changed her identity to The Kat and competed in the ‘Miss Royal Rumble Swimsuit Contest’ at the Royal Rumble in a bubble wrap bikini.
