As shown in the teaser, there looks to be some severe chaos in Los Angeles, with gang confrontations and high-profile drug sales. The Wu-Tang Clan’s C.R.E.A.M. also plays throughout the teaser, hinting at the violent environment fans may expect in the new season.

Snowfall Season 6

According to the official summary of the forthcoming Snowfall season,

“A civil war threatens to ruin the Saint family in the sixth and final season of FX’s Snowfall.”

It goes on,

“Franklin (Damson Idris) is faced with losing everyone he loves and all he’s created, and getting through it will entail out-maneuvering the KGB, the DEA, and the CIA, as well as dodging the LAPD’s corrupt C.R.A.S.H units. When everyone’s backs are against the wall, who will they become to survive?”

Series co-creator and executive producer Dave Andron called the show’s last season “surprising and emotional” in an interview with TVLine. He also commented on Damson Idris’ role as Franklin Saint, saying:

“He has to survive. There’s always been a risk to what he’s doing, but he has to go after the CIA and Teddy to recoup his money. The stakes are really high. He’s expecting a kid. He’s all in, and we’ll have to discover who he is and what he’s ready to do to find out.”

He goes on to say,

“I believe we ended up delivering the tale in a truly unexpected and inevitable manner. It’s really emotional, and I believe it’s quite rewarding, which is exactly what he would have wanted. I think he’d be pleased with where we arrived.”
