Patrick, the youngest team ever to qualify for the Scotties Tournament of Hearts from Saskatchewan, said that this success is a credit to the team’s and Skylar’s years of hard labor. Skylar notes that the journey with her father from junior levels to women’s competition has created lifelong memories for the two of them.
Following the triumph, she described it as one of the highlights of her short career thus far.
“It’s really special having my dad here with me and to win my first green jacket in women’s with him is pretty awesome.”
