She grew raised in Tallahassee, Florida. Marie Norris (mother) and Ed DePuy (father) are her parents. Her father was a Leon County Commissioner, and her mother is a teacher. Bream relocated to Tampa, Florida, after graduating from the Florida State University College of Law, and started her career as a lawyer while studying corporate (employment and labor) law. She also wanted to shift careers and seek a career in television reporting. She relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina, in 2001, and started working as a news reporter for the CBS station, WBTV. Shannon Bream left WBTV after three years to work for NBC station WRC-TV in Washington, D.C.
She was there for three years until joining Fox News Channel in November 2007. She is presently a Fox News Supreme Court correspondent and the host of America’s News Headquarters. Bream also fills in on Special Report with Bret Baier and Fox News Sunday. She appeared on a discussion program with Kristin Gasper, and they will debate the state legislation and the San Diego County Board of Supervisors.
