Sawyer Fredericks, the Season 8 winner of The Voice, has spoken out about his sexuality. In a statement shared with his Instagram followers, the 22-year-old winner, who was on Pharrell Williams’ team on the show, came out as bisexual.

The Season 8 winner of The Voice said it was his first time living with someone who wasn’t a family member and that he enjoyed it. He met his partner about five years ago at a rock climbing gym, he told the Daily Gazette.
The Voice coach mentioned that they split up their cleaning duties and that it’s nothing compared to growing up on a farm:

In 2015, the singer-songwriter won Season 8 of The Voice. The singer wowed the judges with his performance, which included a deep voice and a powerful delivery.
He made his major debut with A Good Storm after winning the highly sought-after NBC television competition, followed by one of his most famous albums, Hide Your Ghost, in 2018, which he wrote and produced himself. Flowers for You, his most recent album, was released in 2020.
Before moving to upstate New York, the Season 8 winner was born in Newtown and lived in Roxbury. He revealed how the pandemic had affected him as an artist in an interview with the Daily Gazette:
