During the holidays, Alexie was seen with Ryan’s teammate Connor McDavid’s wife, Lauren Kyle. She is also the daughter of Michael Andlauer, a Canadian billionaire and owner of the Ottawa Senators. Michael and Matthew, the Edmonton Oilers’ elder brothers, play hockey. Michael, who plays for the New Jersey Devils, has been given indefinite leave, along with teammate Cal Foote. The two are claimed to be engaged in an ongoing sexual assault investigation from 2018. Alex Formenton, Carter Hart, and Dillon Dube are believed to be the other three players involved.

Alexie Andlauer, Ryan’s girlfriend, graduated from Parsons School of Design. She received her bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2021. Since then, she has served as the head of e-commerce operations at Tamara Mellon. Only a few NHL fans may be aware that Alexie is the daughter of a millionaire. Her father, Michael Andlauer, is a logistics tycoon who purchased 90% of the Ottawa Senators last year. He paid $950 million to purchase the NHL franchise from former owner Eugene Melnyk’s family. After Eugene died, his daughters received 10% of his wealth.
Michael Andlauer was born in France but raised in Montreal, and he has spent over 30 years leading healthcare-focused logistics enterprises in Canada. In 2004, he invested in the Hamilton Bulldogs, then in 2009, he joined Geoff Molson’s group to invest in the Montreal Canadiens. Michael eventually sold the Bulldogs to the Canadiens. Michael and his wife, Lucie, have two elder kids named Michael and Matthew, in addition to Alexie.

Ryan McLeod grew up in a hockey-loving household. McLeod was only 18 months old when he began skating on ice. He hoped to follow in the footsteps of his two elder brothers, Matthew and Michael. His other brother, Michael McLeod, was picked by the New Jersey Devils in 2016 and signed a one-year $1.4 million deal with the team last season.
