He went to Trafalgar Junior School and was a member of the theater club. Rufus also attended the Central School of Speech and Drama before opting to pursue a career in show business. He came to prominence as a result of his portrayal as Tim in Michael Winner’s 1991 film Dirty Weekend, for which he won widespread acclaim from fans and critics alike.
