Promo for Royalteen: Forbidden love and deeper relationships
The plot of Royalteen centers on the increasing romance between the main heroine Lena and future king Karl Johan, a high-class socialite from the busy media world. The show’s two characters come from very different cultures and have quite distinct personalities, which creates latent tension in many situations. The teaser for Royalteen sees Karl entering the school, attracting the attention of everyone in the room. He walks in and takes a seat next to Lena, a new student at the school. They strike up a discussion that quickly becomes lively and amusing. There is clearly some romantic tension in the air.
According to Daily Research Plot, the official summary for the film is as follows:
“Lena is well aware that seeing and bonding with the heir to the kingdom may put them both in an untenable position, and she hasn’t told Kalle or anyone else about her even bigger secret, which is also the reason she has drifted away from her nation. Will her enormous secret produce a major issue, or will we witness a happy ending for a prince and a commoner?”
The issue with Karl and Lena’s relationship is rather obvious. Being from two different worlds, it will be tough for the two of them to maintain a relationship, particularly if they have to consider the future. Aside from their social differences, prince Karl Johan is a regular target of controversies and online debates. Unbeknownst to the crown prince, Lena is an ardent writer who has been publishing articles about him on her blog. Prince Karl is also unaware that simple Lena has many secrets of her own.
Veslemy Mrkrid, Sunniva Lind Hilund, Petter Width Kristiansen, Filip Bargee Ramberg, Martin Grid Toennesen, Elli Rhiannon Müller Osborne, Christian Ruud Kallum, Amalie Sporsheim, Pl Richard Lunderby, Carmen Andrea Hilund, and Vr Srensen Grnlie also appear in the film. On August 17, 2022, Netflix will release Royalteen. Though no official timing has been established, the film is likely to debut around 12 a.m. PT or 3 a.m. EST. The official broadcast time for the film will differ depending on the time zones in each location.
