Rosanna Scotto began her career as a television reporter at WTBS, Ted Turner’s UHF television station in Atlanta. During her tenure at the station, she worked as a reporter for two local programs and as an assistant producer for the nightly newscast. Later, in 1982, she returned to her homeland, New York City, to work as a reporter for WABC-TV. She was the anchor for the program Good Morning New York, which later became Live with Regis and Kathie Lee. After a year, she became a reporter for WABC-TV’s Eyewitness News.
In 1986, she left WABC to join Fox’s WNYW. She began as a weekend anchor and reporter there. Later that year, in 1994, she started presenting the weekday version of Fox 5 News. She also had a guest appearance in an episode of the Fox police thriller New York Undercover.
