Robson Green Is Being Blamed For The Separation Between The Vicar And His Wife

Robson Green

Robson Green is an enthralling performer who has captured audiences with his outstanding portrayal as Detective Inspector Geordie Keating in the ITV detective thriller Grantchester. Green’s Keating and Tom Brittney’s Reverend Will Davenport team together to track out the murderer and the circumstances that led up to the death.

And, although Green is a fantastic actor, the drama in his personal life is as captivating. He is presently dating Zoila Short, a Sunday school teacher. They met in a gym in Newcastle, began dating, and ultimately moved into Green’s Northumberland house. The pair were first seen together in public on the set of Grantchester in 2018. Short was married to a reverend when they started dating, and their relationship made news, with many assuming that Green came between Short and her spouse.

Robson Green is held responsible for the breakup of a vicar and his wife.

In 2016, it was revealed that Robson had an affair, which led to the divorce of Reverend Geoffrey Short and his wife. The reverend had three children with Short and was awarded an OBE by the Queen at Buckingham Palace. The former couple met when he was working in finance and living in Hong Kong. Six years after their initial encounter, they married.

Geoffrey told the Mirror that he was stunned to hear of the affair since it happened so quickly. It caused him to doubt his religion. “We had a wonderful life together.” People believed she was the perfect vicar’s wife, and they were right. “She adores the boys, and everyone complimented her on being a good mother,” Geoffrey told the newspaper.

He went on to say that one day when he arrived home from work, everything changed. Short informed him that she would be going to live with the star. After they met at the gym, she informed him she had fallen in love with Green. The pastor said that he was having difficulty forgiving his wife.

Two Failed Marriages of Robson Green

Green had been married twice before meeting Short. On June 22, 1991, he married occupational therapist Alison Ogilvie, but they divorced eight years later. Green allegedly cheated on his wife with Pamela McDonald, who was then married to Emmerdale star Ian Sharrock. He revealed the affair in 2016, saying that celebrity had gotten to him and caused him to “lose touch with what counts in life.”

He met his second wife Vanya Seager, a former Page 3 model, in 1995 while recording Unchained Melody at BMG Records after parting with the therapist. Taylor Seager-Green, their son, was born in 2000, and they married a year later. They exchanged vows in Buckinghamshire before celebrating with their families in Mauritius. However, after 16 years of marriage, the pair divorced, claiming that their marriage had “irretrievably broken down.”
