When it comes to his work, Robert Smith’s career began at the age of 14 when he joined the high school band ‘The Crawley Goat Band,’ which also featured his brother, Richard, sister Janet, and several of his friends. In 1976, he created the band Easy Cure’ with Laurence Tolhurst, Pearl Thompson, and Michael Dempsey, with Smith serving as one of the composers and vocalists.
