Rob Estes, best known for his role as Kyle McBride on Melrose Palace, married his second wife, Erin Bolte, in 2010. The couple is still going strong after more than a decade of marriage.
The Love Story of Estes and Bolte
Before Estes and Bolte met, the 57-year-old actor married Melrose Palace co-star Josie Bissett. Following his divorce from Bissett, the actor went on a blind date with Bolte. Bolte told the Orange County Register that their mutual friends had introduced them. When Estes met his future wife, he stayed at his sister’s house in San Clemente. The couple married in 2010 and have been living happily ever after.

After relocating from Santa Monica to San Clemente and Seattle since their marriage, the couple has finally settled in San Clemente, Orange County, California — primarily for the sake of their children. Estes, who adores his children, chose San Clemente for his son Mason’s excellent schools.
The laid-back atmosphere and friendly neighborhood drew the couple in along with the schools. The couple enjoys spending time with each other and their children. Bolte has even stated that her ideal day would include going on a beach trail — which is also the actor’s ideal day, complete with having sushi as a family at night.
Bolte is a devoted mother whose favorite actor is her husband. Every dinner, the couple is determined to spend time with their families. After being tired all day, the Melrose Palace actor said he enjoyed coming together as a family at night. With the ‘no electronics’ rule at dinner, the close-knit Estes family enjoys having dinner together every night.
The Silk Stalkings actress is the mother of three children, two sons and a daughter. Mason and Maya, his oldest children, are from his first marriage to Bisset. Makai, his youngest son, is from his second and current wife, Bolte.
