According to The Sun, the 24-year-old celebrity, whose actual name is Alex O’Connor, reportedly attacked an unnamed lady twice in the West End on June 1, 2022. He abused the same lady, who was above the age of 16, four times the next day, once in a cab and three times in his Notting Hill home, according to Leading Britain’s Conversation.
After appearing in London’s Southwark Crown Court on October 10, Rex County Orange disputed the assault claims. After pleading not guilty to all six charges, the artist was freed on unconditional bond. The preliminary trial date has been set on January 3, 2023.

Rex Orange County’s representative broke the silence on his behalf.
Following the publication of his charges, Rex Orange County’s representative sent a statement to Variety addressing the matter.
“Alex is stunned by the claims, which he rejects, and is eager to defend his reputation in court.” He is unable to say more due to the pending processes.”
Rex Orange County said on Twitter on July 2 that he had to postpone his tour dates in New Zealand, Europe, and Australia “due to unanticipated personal issues.”
The singer published a long statement without explaining why saying:
“I’m going to have to spend some time at home this year, so I won’t be able to continue travelling as planned.” This is the last thing on my mind. I like travelling and apologize for disappointing everyone. I’m looking forward to getting back to it as soon as possible.”

Rex Orange County was born on May 4, 1998, in Hampshire, England. He attributes his musical influences to well-known English bands such as ABBA, Queen, and Green Day, who pushed him to join the school choir. Alex O’Connor began his musical career with drums and piano, which he learned to play before moving on to guitar at the age of 16. After graduating from The BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology, O’Connor became a drummer.
In November 2016, the artist uploaded his debut software-recorded album on Soundcloud, catching the attention of English record producer Ben Ash, with whom he subsequently collaborated on hits such as UNO, Best Friend, and Untitled. Apricot Princess, Rex Orange County’s second album, was released the next year. He came to fame the same year with singles like Loving Is Easy and Best Friend.
