Raima’s husband and family filed a missing person’s report at Kalabagan police station on January 16th, after waiting for 24 hours. After receiving the missing report of actress Raima, police launched an inquiry, and on the 17th of January, the local residents of Kadamtoli Area made a call that aids in the discovery of Raima. A corpse was discovered near the Alipore Bridge in Kadamtoli, according to reports. When police arrived in response to a report, they discovered that the corpse in the bag was that of actress Raima Islam. Police promptly took the actress’s corpse to Sir Salumullah Medical College Hospital for a post-mortem examination and resumed their investigation.
Following this, authorities detained the actress’s husband, Mr. Shakhawat Ali Nobel, for inquiry. Raima’s corpse was discovered with many cruelly battered and wounded markings. Raima’s husband confessed to the crime and acknowledged that he murdered his wife with the aid of his buddy SMY Abdullah Farhad after a few questions and torching by police. He said that he murdered her due to marital strife and that a buddy assisted him in disposing of the corpse. Sub-inspector Chunnu Mia conducted the whole investigation into this murder, and he submitted a petition to detain Raima’s husband and his buddy for ten days.
