Career
Paul started his career as a kid with IMG Soccer Academy in 2010. He trained with them before moving to Arsenal FC (California) from 2011 to 2012. In 2012, he turned down an invitation to join the LA Galaxy and instead joined Liga MX’s Club Tijuana. When asked why he chose Tijuana over LA Galaxy, he said, “I felt that Xolos was the place for me.” I adore the club; it’s my home team, and the people who work there are fantastic.” On July 6, 2013, he made his professional debut for the club against Club América. In that game, which finished in a 5-2 triumph, he also scored a goal. Paul is still a member of the same club.
Paul earned his international debut in the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2011. He was also a member of the United States U18 team for the friendlies against France and Uruguay. He also competed in the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2015, scoring a goal against New Zealand in a group-stage encounter.
