Their most recent public appearances came after they split up around two years ago. The actor-actress couple began dating for the first time in 2017, however, they both unfollowed each other on social media sometime in 2019. It was at this time that reports of their breakup began to circulate. But it seems that they are once again dating, and their love appears to be growing stronger by the day. As a result, it is not unreasonable to believe that Pimentel will soon become Benavides’ wife.

The two’s meeting gained viral notice when Benavides posted a photo of the two on his Instagram. The Por La Libre actor is seen enjoying time with Pimentel at Disney World in the March 5, 2021 photo. Pimentel was seen with Benavides and other persons in a follow-up March 6 photo, including two youngsters whose faces were covered with emojis. The actor then shared another photo of himself with Pimentel on April 25. The shot was taken during the opening of the Mexican comedy film Mentada de Padre, which premiered in 2019.
The significant indication that practically verifies their reunion came in the shape of another Instagram image uploaded on social media on May 31, 2021, by actor Benavides. In the photo, the two are dressed in medical garb and kissing one other while wearing face masks. This just added fire to the speculations about a possible wife. The two were presumed to be on the set of their 2017 TV series The Good Doctor. Pimentel teasingly posted a photo of herself with Benavides to Instagram on April 16, 2021. Pimentel continued to express her support for the LGBTQ community by participating in Corum, Morelia’s Independent Film Festival of Sexual and Gender Diversity. She had previously uploaded a photo on Instagram in which she could be seen going through a color palette. LIBERTAD, which translates as Liberty in English, was written in the caption. The captioned text features seven colored emojis between the letters, which may be a nod to the rainbow’s seven colors.
