He was shot to death on a roadway in Cuautitlan Izcalli, Mexico, on the evening of October 29, 2021, at the age of 22. It is unclear why he was shot. Elas Solorio, the show’s producer, announced his death on Twitter, writing, “I can’t believe it. My darling Octavio, may you rest in peace. You have left those of us who knew you heartbroken. Benito, have a safe journey. Photographs from the incident were released by journalist Carlos Jimenez. He claims that cops claim they did not shoot Ocana.
