After ten years of marriage, Bam Margera and Nicole Boyd are divorcing. From 2007 through 2012, Margera was married to Melissa “Missy” Rothstein. Boyd has filed for divorce due to their ongoing irreconcilable differences. According to court documents, Boyd has asked for full custody of their child and permission for Margera to visit him on various times. Nicole also asked Bam to pay her spousal support and legal expenses.
Boyd’s lawyer, David Glass, recently talked with People. He said that his client has opted to break the marriage because Bam’s addiction to drugs and alcohol has worsened to the point that he is unable to support her and their family. Glass went on to say:
“Nikki has invested all she has into getting Bam to remain clean and preserving her family.”
The pair has been coping with a variety of challenges for a long time as a result of Bam Margera’s participation in various legal troubles and the event at the rehab center in 2022. Boyd told People in a statement that she expects her husband to become clean by going back to treatment.
Bam Margera has previously been engaged twice.
Bam Margera was initially engaged to Jenn Rivell, with whom he worked on multiple occasions. The couple divorced in 2005, and things grew worse when Margera claimed Rivell broke into his residence. Margera said that he is afraid and has no clue what Rivell would do next when appearing in Chester County Common Pleas Court for a decision on a protection from abuse hearing. Margera described an event in October 2005 in which Rivell leaped over the fence and smashed through the rear door. He went on to say:
“That was about 4 a.m. roughly a year before the October event… She jumped over the fence and kicked in the door. She raged at me and claimed I should not have ended our relationship.”
Margera said that when he and Rivell split up, the latter destroyed several of his items and that he had previously been assaulted. Bam married Melissa “Missy” Rothstein in 2007 after becoming engaged in 2006. The wedding was also included in Bam’s MTV series Unholy Union. The couple’s divorce was finalized in 2012.
