Nicola Peltz Beckham recently graced the cover of Tatler magazine, where she spoke out about her and Brooklyn Beckham’s professional problems. Her spouse wants to be a professional soccer player like his father, David Beckham, she said. Unfortunately, he was dismissed from Arsenal’s junior squad before reaching the age of 16. Peltz said that Brooklyn was also interested in fashion photography and modeling. He has begun appearing on TV to demonstrate his culinary abilities.
Peltz, on the other hand, said that her husband was constantly under pressure to please people with his professional choices and did not like the process:
“He was under a lot of pressure to impress people with his work, and he didn’t like it.”
She also shared Brooklyn’s interest in cooking, which he learned largely during the COVID-19 pandemic:
“You can tell Brooklyn is in paradise when he’s in the kitchen. He’s just wanted to speak about being in the kitchen since the outbreak, so I simply began taping him one day. “I told her, ‘This is what you adore.'”
Nicola Peltz also mentioned Brooklyn Beckham’s tight bond with her father and said that he often seeks counsel from the millionaire businessman:
“Brooklyn is doing extremely interesting things with his performances, and it’s incredibly lovely to have him contact my dad and say, ‘What do you think about this?'” “I like seeing him learn from my father.”
During the epidemic, Beckham established his own Facebook Watch cooking program, Cookin’ with Brooklyn, and utilized the medium to highlight his culinary abilities and exploits. Peltz expressed her belief that this was his calling.
Nicola Peltz discusses her personal professional struggles
While discussing her husband Brooklyn Beckham’s work troubles, Nicola Peltz also discussed her own career challenges. She said that she fell in love with theatre in school and told her parents she wanted to be an actress. Her first acting job was in Blackbird, an off-Broadway play about a woman’s reunion with her abuser, who molested her as a kid 15 years before. She later appeared in Transformers: Age of Extinction and the horror series Bates Motel.
Peltz went on to explain how she had received several rejections along the way and had finally learned to embrace failure:
“I’ve heard the word ‘no’ a million times. I built up such a barrier to failure at an early age that I sort of became a robot to it, where it was like, ‘OK, there’s a no, moving on!’… It’s not easy, but you have to wish the other person who wins the part the best of luck. “I always get the feeling that what is destined to be yours will find its way to you.”
Peltz is presently working on Lola James, an upcoming drama for which she is the writer, director, and performer, according to People. The current interview comes more than two months after Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham married on April 9 in Palm Beach, Florida, and made headlines for their star-studded and extravagant wedding celebration.
