On Sunday, the wife of the renowned American musician made an accusation against him on Instagram, writing, “I’m sad and disgusted.” While this was the reason Smith ended her eight-year marriage, she accused Ne-Yo of cheating on her with women who sold their bodies to him unguarded.
What did Crystal think of Ne-Yo?
Crystal criticized hubby Ne-Yo for being unfaithful in an Instagram post. She stated:
“8 years. 8 years of lying and falsehoods 8 years of naively sharing my life and my spouse with a slew of women who sell their bodies unprotected to him…every single one of them! To say I’m devastated and disappointed would be an understatement.”
Crystal also asked followers to refrain from sharing her footage of the American musician with other ladies. She continued, saying:
“To want me to remain and tolerate it is insanity.” A narcissist’s mindset. I will no longer deceive the public or pretend that this isn’t the case. I chose myself, my happiness, my health, and my respect. I got three lovely children as a result of this, but nothing else except squandered years and pain. Please stop giving me videos and information on him cheating since what he does is no longer of relevance to me.”
The wife of the So Sick singer came out all bold and strong, declaring that she is not a victim and that she is choosing to stand tall with her head held high. She further said,
“If someone cannot love you the way you deserve, it is your responsibility to love yourself.” With no malice in my heart, I wish him the best.”

Crystal’s efforts did not end there. She shared various encrypted phrases on her Instagram stories, one of which said that some women just want a faithful boyfriend, and she is one of them. The pair have been married since 2016 and has three children: Shaffer, 6, Roman, 3, and Isabella, 13 months. Although the pair momentarily separated in 2020, they rejoined after a few months. On April 24, this year, the couple repeated their vows in a grandiose red-themed wedding in Las Vegas. This was just before Crystal revealed her divorce from Ne-Yo. The divorce was put off, however, since the pair decided to give their marriage another opportunity. Surprisingly, Ne-Yo disclosed to a tabloid some time ago that he had cheated on Crystal. As a result, Ne-Yo became the target of even more infidelity claims.
“I honestly believe we are better off today than we were before it occurred. We’ve learned to really listen to each other, to slow down in a moment, and actually determine whether or not the feeling we’re trying to leap to is the emotion that should be put in that scenario. These are the items that need daily effort. It is not simple.”
Crystal, on the other hand, has finally spoken out. Although Ne-Yo has not commented or given an official statement confirming or disputing his wife’s accusation, he did like the post posted by Crystal, which might imply that the couple’s separation is amicable.
