Career
Natasha Bassett had her first audition at the age of 14, landed the lead role in the Australian Theatre for Young People’s production of “Romeo and Juliet,” and went on to study at the National Institute of Dramatic Art. Natasha then went on to perform in Cate Blanchett’s stage production of “Bookends” for Sydney Theatre Company.
While attending classes, Natasha landed the lead in the MTV film Dungoona (2009) and appeared on several Australian television series (Rake (2010), Wild Boys (2011), Cops L.A.C. (2010)). After graduating from high school, she starred in P.J. Hogan’s film, Mental (2012), alongside Toni Collette and Liev Schreiber, and then went to Paris to play the lead in the feature, The Last Goodbye (2013).
She received a screenwriting scholarship from the ArtStart Screenwriters Program when she was 19, and she wrote and directed her short film, Kite (2013). The critically acclaimed short film was shown at the Rhode Island International Film Festival, the Balinale International Film Festival, and the Big Bear Lake International Film Festival.
Natasha relocated to New York City to study at the Atlantic Acting School before moving to Los Angeles for the NBC series Camp (2013).
