Skinner won the silver medal in the Olympic vault in 2020 and was an alternate for the 2016 Olympic team. She competed in the 2014 World Championships, where she helped the United States team win gold. She also won a bronze medal in the vault as an individual.

As a result, she won 11 medals in total at the USA National Championships during her senior career. She was also a member of the University of Utah gymnastics team and a two-time NCAA champion. She won the junior individual all-around title at the American Classic in 2011. After finishing tenth in the all-around and second on vault at the National Championships, this personality was named to the junior US national team.

In 2012, she was named to the United States senior national team. Similarly, in early 2013, she competed in the Fiesta Bowl.
