Mirco started his professional ice hockey career as a junior with the Kloten Flyers from 2010 to 2012. He appeared in seven games for the National League A during the 2011-12 season. In the 2012 CHL import draft, he was taken 11th overall by the Everett Silvertips. He was a member of the club for two seasons. He played with the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League (AHL) in 2013-14. In 2011, he made his international debut. Mirco made his debut for Switzerland’s Under 18 Team in the IH18 competition in 2011, finishing seventh. He has represented his country on multiple occasions.
