Miranda Maverick began her MMA career in 2015, fighting for the Kansas City Fighting Alliance tonight, and The Blue Corner companies, amassing a 7-1 record and earning the Blue Corner and Shofight flyweight championships while still just 18 years old. When she went pro, she was ranked as the number one amateur lady in her region on Tapology.
Then she was contacted by Invicta Fighting Championships President Shannon Knapp, and she made her promotional debut against Samantha Diaz on November 18, 2016, at Invicta FC 20: Evinger vs. Kunitskaya. In round one, she won by rear-naked choke.
On March 25, 2017, she defeated Kalyn Schwartz at Invicta FC 22: Evinger vs. Kunitskaya II, and on July 15, 2017, she defeated Gabby Romero at Invicta FC 24: Dudieva vs. Borella.
