Nazanin Mandi was born on September 11, 1986, in Valencia, California, to Iranian, Mexican, and Native American parents. Ali Reza Mandighomi, her father, is Iranian, while her mother, Luz Cecilia Saenz, is Latin American. She began her modeling career at age ten after being seen by a photographer at an In-N-Out Burger. She then played at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Nazanin attended Valencia High School, where she studied jazz and classical music as a soloist in the VHS Choir. She then graduated from Valencia High School in June 2004.
