Career
In 1981, Michael started his career as a football recruiting coordinator at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Harvey Hyde, the team’s coach, hired him. He remained there until 1984 before becoming a scout with the San Francisco 49ers from 1984 to 1987. He was hired as the Philadelphia Eagles’ Director of Pro Personnel in 1998. That same year, he was hired as the Oakland Raiders’ Senior Personnel Executive, a position he held until 2007.
