Meghan Ory was just 17 years old when she discovered she wanted to be an actress. She hasn’t stopped focusing on her job since then, and she’s been in the film business for nearly twenty years. She came to prominence as Juliette Waybourne in the series Higher Ground and continued her career as Red Riding Hood in Once Upon a Time. Ory is currently more known for her role as Abby O’Brien Winters in the Hallmark drama Chesapeake Shores. Ory’s O’Brien is a high-powered business lady who returns to her hometown of Chesapeake Shores as a divorced mother with twins in the series.

Off-screen, though, the Chesapeake Shores actress is a happily married lady. Since 2008, she has been married to her husband, John Reardon. They met on the set of the 2006 film Merlin’s Apprentice and began dating almost immediately. Reardon, like Ory, is an actor who has acted as Greg Cameron in the three-season TV series Arctic Air and the popular sci-fi series Continuum.
The Chris Isaak Show, Nova Scotia, and Love on the Sidelines are among his other works. Even after more than a decade of marriage, the pair looks to be very much in love, as proven by the many images of her spouse that Ory posts on social media. On the occasion of her husband’s birthday in July 2021, the actress posted a tribute to him.
“Happy almost-birthday to Johnny Reardon, the most magnificent, outstanding, great, and sexiest man alive. I’m not sure how I got so fortunate, but I thank my lucky stars every day. You are the MOST AMAZING husband and father, and we adore you! “She penned something.
She also seems to be her husband’s greatest fan, often promoting his work on her Instagram. Reardon is presently appearing in Hudson & Rex, a police procedural drama on television. According to her uploads, both of them appear in the program.

Meghan Ory and Her Kids
The co-stars are a husband and wife team with two children. After a decade of marriage, the couple revealed on Instagram that they were expecting their first child in 2018. Shortly later, in July 2019, the actress revealed that she and her husband were expecting their second child. With a hectic performing career and two children, the actress spoke candidly about parenthood and how she managed it all. During an interview with Parade, she said that she didn’t bring her job home to balance her work and home lives since her kid could tell.
“I regain my composure, step through the door, and leave everything behind. If I don’t, my son realizes I’ve carried my work home with me. As a result, it’s been a fantastic discipline to perform a little little meditation so that I can be really present for him.”
When asked about parenting, the actress said that it had an impact on August as an actor. She said that she could better identify with her character O’Brien and understand her to want to return home and be near family, particularly because O’Brien is a single mother. Ory said that parenting was difficult, but it was made a bit easier when there were more people around to assist. The actress said that she learned to realize the tiny things that parents had to cope with, such as getting children ready for a doctor’s visit, something she had never considered before having children.
