Megastar Rihanna had unfollowed Megan Thee Stallion on Instagram; internet users have been in a frenzy. Megan had always raved over the former and voiced her wish to work with the soon-to-be mother in the future.
Rihanna expressed similar sentiments after following the H Town Hottie in 2019 and appointing the ‘Savage’ rapper as a brand ambassador for Savage X Fenty in May 2020. As an ambassador for Rihanna’s lingerie brand, Megan had done multiple photoshoots.
Fans noticed that all of her photos had been removed from the Savage X Fenty website recently. One cause for the feud between the two, according to Twitterati, is that ASAP Rocky cheated on Rihanna with Megan Thee Stallion. A blind item concerning Rocky cheating with Megan Thee Stallion was received by Pop Faction, a news and media agency.
Although the adultery allegations have not been confirmed, HollywoodLife claimed on March 21 that Rocky and RiRi had made progress in their relationship. According to a source close to RiRi, the couple may be engaged shortly.
Carl Crawford And Megan Thee Stallion’s Record Label Drama
Nothing has been verified as to why Rihanna unfollowed Megan, but Carl Crawford’s comments have provided new information. Megan’s label, 1501 Certified Ent., is run by Crawford, and the two have been in a legal battle since 2020. Megan’s legal team submitted a petition in February, requesting that her 2021 CD Something for Thee Hotties be declared an album under their recording contract.
The rapper’s legal team stated in court filings that 1501 did not define Something for Thee Hotties as an “album.”
Megan’s attorneys, on the other hand, said that the label was attempting to “squeeze more money and unpaid labor out of her for as long as possible.”
On March 21, TMZ stated that 1501 had filed a counter-suit, arguing that Something for Thee Hotties was not an album since it didn’t fulfill a few criteria. Megan must feature at least 12 “new and unpublished master recordings of studio performances” for it to be designated an album. The new album, according to 1501, featured just 29 minutes of new content and contained a lot of old, previously published material.
Online Feud Between Megan Thee Stallion And Carl Crawford
Megan took her legal struggle to the internet after learning of the countersuit, calling Crawford a “powerhead.” The rapper questioned why the record label owner hadn’t released her instead of maintaining her in order to make more money when she wasn’t lucrative for him.
She went on to say that she didn’t want to take the subject to the internet, but she was tired of being presented as a bad person. Crawford was also accused of seeking clout by the rapper, who begged her to quit lying about how much money she owed him.
Crawford responded by posting on his Instagram stories that Megan was lying and that the truth will be out shortly.
Crawford stated, “This is coming from a bona fide alcoholic who [slept with] the entire business, including her best friend’s [lover].”
Fans began to question if Crawford’s assertion that Megan slept with the whole industry was related to Rocky. New developments, hopefully, will shed further light on the situation.
