His career path, however, took a turn for the better after graduation. Kellerman was hired as an analyst on ESPN’s boxing series Friday Night Fights in the late 1990s. After a few years as an analyst, he was given his own show, Around the Horn, in November 2002. Even though the show was a huge success, Killman and ESPN couldn’t agree. As a result, he left the network in 2004.

He then co-hosted I, Max on Fox Sports Net with Michael Holley and Bill Wolff. Despite having received the highest rating, the show was canceled the following year.
