Career
Mattia Perin was promoted to Genoa’s first team in January 2010. However, he spent most of his time on the bench and finally made his debut in 2011 against Cesena. In the 2011-12 season, he was loaned to Serie B team Padova. Mattia returned to play on loan for Serie A side Pescara. Then, from 2013 to 2018, Mattia was a steady performer for his team Genoa. Perin was recruited by Serie A heavyweights Juventus in 2018 for 12 million Euros plus 3 million Euros in incentives.
He even won the league with Juventus, although he only appeared in a few games since he was the backup goalie. He eventually returned to Genoa on loan in 2020 and will play for them until the conclusion of the 2020-21 season. Mattia Perin was the first-choice goalkeeper for the Italian U-17 national team.
