Mason Mount Is leavig Chelsea Next Season

Mason Mount

Chelsea is flying high at the top of the Premier League table after nine wins in the first 12 games of the new season.

Mason Mount, the England midfielder who has quickly developed into one of Europe’s best No.10s, is at the heart of Thomas Tuchel’s all-conquering team of European champions.

While Mount’s position at Chelsea appears secure to fans, whispers from across the continent suggest that his future may lie elsewhere.

Who would like to sign Mount?

According to the Spanish newspaper Fichajes, the England international has emerged as a severe transfer target for none other than Real Madrid.

Mount’s expertise in the No.10 position could help Carlo Ancelotti plug that hole in his side. The Spanish giants will likely need a long-term successor to Luka Modric’s throne in the coming years.

According to the website, Madrid is joined by Premier League rivals Manchester City and Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich in their pursuit of the Chelsea midfielder.

Is he considering leaving Chelsea?

Despite reports in Spain to the contrary, it appears highly unlikely that Mount will leave Chelsea soon. The 22-year-Chelsea old’s deal expires in 2024, and he’ll likely extend it next year.

Fichajes says Mount “doesn’t feel appreciated,” although that seems unlikely given Tuchel’s persistence in playing him. Mount should soon receive a deal that puts him on a level with the club’s top players.

The current market value of Mount

Mount has a high market value because he has a long-term deal at a club that exclusively sells unwanted players.

Mount is worth €71 million according to FootballTransfers’ algorithm and would want €89 million if Chelsea sold him shortly.
