Cause of death of Mark Lanegan
The passing of Mark Lanegan is a massive loss for the whole music business. His cause of death, however, has yet to be established. He was hospitalized in March 2021 after getting COVID-19 and almost died. He was also briefly deaf and unable to walk due to the condition. For many months, he was in and out of a coma. Lanegan discussed his views on several COVID-19 conspiracy theories in a 2020 interview. He said that the sickness is connected to 5G technology and explained his wife’s fear of being watched by technological devices.

Lanegan, who was born on November 25, 1964, rose to prominence as the main vocalist of Screaming Trees, as well as a member of Queens of the Stone Age and the Gutter Twins. Lanegan recorded eleven studio albums, three collaborations with Isobel Campbell and two with Duke Garwood. His baritone voice made him well-known among the general population.
The Ellensburg, Washington native started his musical in 1984 as the vocalist of Screaming Trees, with whom he recorded seven studio albums and five EPs until the band disbanded in 2000. He also launched a solo career at the time, releasing The Winding Sheet, his first solo studio album, in 1990. Lanegan recorded ten additional solo albums, all of which were pretty successful.
