Marcus Luttrell was born in the city of Houston, Texas, in 1975. He began training for US Navy SEALs at the age of 14 while accompanying US Army expert Billy Shelton, who remained close to his home.

It is known that he received daily training from Morgan, his identical brother, and others who wanted to join the US Navy and special operations forces. Shelton has also taught them through the use of varied weight and strength training. After finishing high school, Luttrell enrolled in university, where he studied international business.

Career

Marcus Luttrell’s career began in 1999 when he was recruited by the United States Navy. He transferred to Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (i.e., BUD/S) Class 226 after graduating from training camp and Hospital Corpsman A-school.

Despite a broken femur, this celebrity completed the hurdle course and graduated with Class 228 in the year 2000. He has essentially participated in Army jump school as well as SEAL Qualification Training.

In addition, he was directed to Fort Bragg, North Carolina, to learn the Special Operations Combat Medic (abbreviated as SOCM) course. Aside from that, he was assigned to SEAL Team Ten in Afghanistan in 2005 as an associate of SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team One (abbreviated as SDV-1).
