According to Daytime Confidential, actor Marcus Coloma, who played Prince Nikolas Cassadine on ABC’s General Hospital for three years, has left the program. The actor refused to record his last few sequences in the series “after realizing he’d been let go,” according to the tabloid. There is currently no word on whether a new actor will be hired for the role. According to a spokesman for the program, Soap Opera Digest:

“The part of Nikolas Cassadine will no longer be played by Marcus Coloma. His last episode will broadcast at the end of January.”
