So, how did Maneet Chauhan slim down?

When Chauhan began to feel excessively tired, he realized that he needed to make some lifestyle changes. Her job as a chef and judge demanded a lot of her time, and she struggled to keep up. She didn’t have time for tiredness. But there was another reason for her preference for a healthier way of life. She wanted her children to see her succeeding professionally and personally. She wanted to be a good role model for them.

Weight loss had never been a priority for her; rather, it had been an afterthought. What was more important to her was that she felt better about herself in general. Above all, she wanted her children to understand the significance of health and to be mindful of what they put into their bodies.

Chauhan on the Importance of Serving as a Role Model for Children

Children’s first role models are their parents. Chauhan emphasized the importance of her children understanding the realistic and unrealistic expectations of healthy eating, especially in her industry, where some restrictions are impossible to follow.

“I needed to position myself for success. But instead of going to the gym, I donated my membership to charity. “I started by logging my calories and doing simple math,” the Global Fusion chef explained to Parade in a 2019 interview.

Chauhan has become more aware of her eating habits. She wasn’t exactly depriving or indulging herself before. She was just adjusting things here and there. Also, she kept things simple and made a few minor adjustments. Maneet achieved success by not overcomplicating the process.

Her goal of limiting herself to 1200 calories per day fueled the TV personality’s 40-pound weight loss. She made it a point to walk 10,000 steps daily and fit in exercise routines around her hectic schedule.
