Solar from MAMAMOO speaks with Sevilla FC players for a ‘Just Interview’ segment
On July 13, MAMAMOO’s Solar traveled to the beautiful green training field where the Sevilla FC football team was practicing. The club is currently traveling to South Korea and is scheduled to play a friendly match against Tottenham Hotspur on July 16 as part of their pre-season tour. MAMAMOO’s Solar has long been a football enthusiast, and it turns out that Sevilla FC is also a fan of the girl group. They declared themselves to be authentic MooMoos (fandom name).
Solar, dressed in a chic-fitting lavender costume, exuded positivity and was her lovely self in the presence of the players, who appeared to be conscious of her solo and group music. At the wholesome gathering, they were even prepared to crank up the volume and play the female group’s song in the stadium. Torres and Rafa Mir thanked Solar for the interview and showed their respect for the superstar’s musical works after the amazing conversation. The encounter between the three individuals was filmed on the Instagram account of the Spanish League Laliga.
While the exclusive interview has not yet been made public, Solar, Torres, and Mir have provided fascinating teaser material. Laliga’s official Instagram account shared a video of the three stars doing the dance challenge to Solar’s new solo single, HONEY. MAMAMOO’s Solar has once again shown her engaging charm, especially with football fans, with 1.5 million views and over 93,000 likes on the Laliga reel.
The K-pop group leader made waves on the internet when she announced her solo return on March 16, 2022, with the mini album: FACE and the music video for the title tune HONEY. Solar’s mini-album is her first release after making her solo debut in April 2020 with the track Spit It Out. Following Wheein and Moonbyul, the vocalist is the third member of MAMAMOO to make a solo return in 2022.
