Maine Mendoza (27) just engaged actor and politician Arjo Atayde (31). Mendoza took to social media to show off her engagement ring and said, “Wait, what???” “Are we married?!” On his Instagram account, Atayde also posted a photo of Mendoza with the caption, “My turn, I will marry you sweetie.”

Maine Mendoza, 27, and Arjo Atayde, 31, first featured together in the 2018 film Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles. Rumors about the two datings started the same year after they were seen together on many occasions. They went to a Makati restaurant together, dressed up for Halloween at a bar, then went to the Mix 3 performance. Mendoza said at a press conference for Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles that she and Atayde were friends.
During a press conference for the film TOL in 2019, Atayde confirmed that he and Mendoza were dating. Mendoza verified this in a blog post just before her 24th birthday. The pair have shared numerous wonderful moments on social media since then. Mendoza also attended a family meal with Atayde and his mother.
