Madagascar: A Little Wild Is About To Drop A New Season

Madagascar A Little Wild

Madagascar: A Little Wild, the popular Madagascar prequel and spinoff, is getting a new season. The kid-friendly series follows the adventures of young Alex the lion, Marty the zebra, Melman the giraffe, and Gloria the hippo. This series depicts their vibrant lives at the Central Park Zoo in Manhattan. Johanna Stein and Dana Starfield created the DreamWorks animated series. Because the series is aimed at a younger demographic, the executive producers took several liberties with the prior films’ continuity. Says Stein

“Our program is set in a different historical period. I was concentrating on the personalities and dynamics of our four major characters, whom we (including myself) have grown to adore. Were we going to write tales with the same humor and passion as the movies, but for a younger audience and in 22 minutes?”

There are six main characters in the show: Alex, Amir, Marty, Gloria, Melman, Eric, and Jasmine.
