Lovro Majer has had a liking for football from an early age and wanted to follow his interest. Lovro began his football career with the local club Dinamo Zagreb. He left that team at the age of 12 and in 2013, Lovro joined Lokomotivo, having gone through Dubrava and Trnje junior team. In. 2016, he was called up to the Lokomotiva first team. Lovro made his senior squad debut in the UEFA Europa League qualification against Santa Coloma at Estadi Comunal, replacing Eros Grezda in the 76th minute by coach Mario Tokic.
