Stolen by Their Father, a new horror film from Lifetime will debut this weekend. It is based on author Lizbeth Meredith’s book and focuses on actual events from her life. The children were abducted by their father and Meredith’s violent ex-husband, who threatened to murder her if she made any mistakes. The film’s plot revolved around Meredith, who went to any length to get her girls back home.
“Pieces of Me: Rescuing My Kidnapped Daughters” was the title of the author’s memoir. According to Good Reads, the Amazon best-seller book is described as follows:

All About Lizbeth Meredith
Lizbeth Meredith is a Tennessee novelist who lives in Chattanooga. She is also a public speaker, podcaster, and internet marketing instructor. Meredith has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s in psychology. She’s also been a child abuse investigator, a domestic violence advocate, and a retired juvenile probation supervisor. She was the daughter of two high school dropouts who divorced before she was born.
As a youngster, Meredith was subjected to child maltreatment, parental abduction, poverty, and sibling separation. She met a US citizen from Greece in her twenties, married him, and dreamed of creating a satisfying life. Her dreams quickly changed to nightmares as she found herself in a domestic shelter with her two kids. From mental trauma to poverty, she overcame every challenge to protect her children and alter her life narrative.
When will the premiere of Stolen by Their Father take place?
Meredith will be portrayed by Grey’s Anatomy actress Sarah Drew, while Kimonos Kouris will play her ex-husband. Stolen by Their Father, directed by Simone Stock, will debut on Lifetime on Saturday, March 5 at 8 p.m. Eastern Time (ET).
