Linda Kasabian testified against the other members of the Manson Family.
Linda Kasabian testified for the state in return for protection during the Manson trial in the 1970s, after which Charles and other Manson Family members were imprisoned. The Tate-LaBiance killings were a two-day assault in 1969 that resulted in the fatalities of seven individuals, including starlet Sharon Tate.
During her evidence, Kasabian stated that Charles Watson, Patricia Krenwinkel, and Susan Atkins broke into Sharon and her husband, film director Roman PolanskiBenedict,’s Canyon home. Tate, who was eight months expectant at the time, died as a result of the event. Tate’s ex-fiancé Jay Sebring, coffee billionaire Abigail Folger, her lover Wojciech Frykowski, and an acquaintance and Sharon’s maid, Steven Parent, were also among the casualties. The gang then assassinated Leno and Rosemary LaBianca the night before. Linda claimed any participation in the slaughter, but she did admit to driving the group in a vehicle during the deaths. Charles Mason, the gang’s boss, died of heart failure in November 2017.
Linda Kasabian’s upbringing and where she was throughout her life
Linda Kasabian was born on June 21, 1949, and had a difficult upbringing, including the fact that she and her mother couldn’t live with her husband at one time. Despite the fact that her first marriage terminated in divorce, she married Robert Kasabian and gave birth to a daughter in 1968.
Following the 1969 tragedy, she worked as a chef for a while, but her legal problems did not end there, as she was arrested for violating driving laws. Although she dodged the media for a long time, she eventually featured in the Network news magazine show A Current Affair and then in the documentary series Manson. According to Rolling Stone, she had money problems and was detained with her daughter in 1996 after police discovered drugs, currency, a firearm, and ammo in their hands.
