Lil Skies Biography
Lil Skies was born on August 4, 1998, in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. At the age of four, he started creating songs and was first exposed to music by his father, Michael Burton Jr., formerly known as Dark Skies.
In the third grade, the family relocated to Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. When Skies was eleven years old, a chemical explosion at a Rust-Oleum facility close to Williamsport, Maryland, injured his father. In 2016, he received his diploma from Waynesboro Area Senior High School. He then briefly enrolled in the Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania before quitting to pursue music as a full-time career.
