Leonardo Nam And Michael Dodge’s Love Journey Held Strong Till Now

Leonardo Nam

Michael Dodge is Leonardo Nam’s spouse. The actor and his husband are the parents of twin boys who were born in 2017. Nam and Dodge are both honest about their feelings for one another. They also routinely reveal details about their lives together on their Instagram pages.

Here’s a peek into Nam’s relationship with his spouse and how they met.

Nam was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to South Korean parents. He relocated to Sydney, Australia, when he was six years old and became interested in acting throughout his high school years. The Westworld star eventually relocated to New York to seek a career as an actor. His breakout part came in the 2004 film The Perfect Score. A year later, Nam portrayed Brian McBrian, a die-hard gamer, in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. When the film’s sequel was announced in 2008, and he was returning to reprise his part, there was fear that Middle America would not react to an Asian guy in a love role.

Nam went to the gym, determined to prove them incorrect. This is where he met his spouse. When chatting with Out, Nam described how he met his wife as a “genuine basic-gay love tale.” Nam and his wife Dodge often write postings about each other. Dodge celebrated his 50th birthday in July 2021 by posting many photos of himself and Nam on the Greek island of Mykonos. “Thank you, everybody, for your birthday greetings! Leo is having a great time in Mykonos! “What a way to be 50!” he captioned the photo, which was accompanied by a party popper and a red love emoji.

Nam and his husband have gone a long way from their initial encounter. At the same time, they haven’t said when the couple has already married. They also became dads to twin boys, Alexander and Cooper, in 2017. Nam revealed a few details about parenting in an interview with The San Diego Union-Tribune. “It still blows my mind that I’m a parent. “My kids have an unexpected sense of humor that makes me belly laugh in a visceral manner,” he remarked.

“Giving my children a voice, as well as the time, affection, and care they need to communicate their own desires and needs, has been eye-opening… I want to offer them everything I lacked as a child.” His family was a victim of domestic abuse when he was a child. It was mainly because of this encounter that he decided to pursue a career in acting. During his high school years, he penned and performed a profoundly personal monologue “based on [his] mother and [his] father’s] domestic abuse at home.” Nam said in another interview with New Now Next that he wants to pass on his ideas and ways of life to his boys. He also said that he never saw himself as a parent, but now that he is, he feels much more connected to the world.
