Career
Lendl began playing cricket with his uncles at a young age. In December 2006, Simmons made his international and One-Day International debuts against Pakistan. He made his domestic debut with Trinidad and Tobago in 2001.
Lendl earned his T20I cap against England in 2007 and made his Test debut in March 2009 against England. Simmons was a member of the 2012 T20I World Cup-winning side alongside Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo, Marlon Samuels, and Kieron Pollard. In 2016, he hit a spectacular shot to reach the finals and win the tournament. Apart from T20, the player has not had a prosperous career.
Lendl was selected in the 2012 Indian Premier League auction by the Mumbai Indians. He had an outstanding season, culminating in a century against Punjab.
