Lee Da-hae, a seasoned Korean actor, has made headlines after revealing her engagement to her long-term partner of eight years, K-pop sensation Se7en. The pair announced their engagement on Instagram and stated that they would marry in May of this year. Sports Chosun first revealed their partnership in 2016. However, the two were said to have been pals for years before they became lovers. Many people are familiar with Se7en, who gained huge worldwide fame during his heyday. Despite being a seasoned performer, Lee Da-hae may be unfamiliar to the worldwide public.

Everything there is to know about South Korean performer Lee Da-hae.
Lee Da-hae, née Byun Da-hye, is an Australian-Korean actor who has appeared in a number of famous K-dramas, including My Girl, Hotel King, and Good Witch. Lee relocated to Australia when she was about 11 years old and finished her schooling there, where she became proficient in both English and Chinese. She then relocated to Seoul with her mother to seek a performing profession. She was also accepted to Konkuk University at the time, where she concentrated in Theatre and Film studies.
After winning the 71st Miss Chunhyang Pageant in 2001, the actor made her acting début. The beauty pageant is the centerpiece of the Chunhyang Festival, and the victor is regarded as having the greatest degree of conventional attractiveness in South Korea. She was able to secure minor parts in K-dramas after winning the contest, but her major debut came in 2004 with the program Lotus Flower Fairy, in which she portrayed the character of a Shaman’s daughter. This performance also won her the Best New Actress title at the esteemed Baeksang Arts Awards.
Following this, her career took off, and she was chosen as the protagonist in several plays, including Green Rose and Robber. Her performance in these K-dramas garnered her much applause and critical recognition. My Girl helped the performer establish herself in the South Korean film business. After effectively establishing a following in Korea, Lee Da-hae shifted her attention to China, where she grew an equally large fandom by delivering her lines in both Korean and Mandarin without the assistance of a translator. This also aided her landing parts in C-dramas like Love Actually and the Korean-Chinese drama Best Couple.
Lee Da-hae took a brief hiatus from her work around the same time that reports of her courting Se7en emerged. She made her comeback to the big screen in 2018 with the K-drama Good Witch.
