Lee Corso was born on August 7, 1935, in Florida, United States. Similarly, he is 88 years old. His father, Irma Corsa, and mother, Alessandro Corso, gave birth to him. He moved to Miami with his parents when he was only ten years old. He later went to Miami Jackson Senior High School. Furthermore, he was a quarterback in high school. Career
Corso went on to become the quarterback’s coach at Maryland, where he worked under his former FSU coach Tommy Nugent. And in 1962, Corso took Nugent’s advice and hired an academic. Darryl Hill was also persuaded to transfer from the Naval Academy by an athletically qualified black player. As a result, he became the Atlantic Coast Conference’s first African-American football player. Finally, in 1966, he was hired as the Navy’s defensive backs coach.
