For over five years, she has been happily married
On November 15, 2015, the Supergirl star married her boyfriend Brown at Harlem’s Riverside Church in New York City. Jesse Tyler Ferguson of Modern Family and Connie Britton of Nashville were guests at the intimate ceremony, including family members, close friends, and showbiz colleagues.
The brunette beauty wore an Anne Barge-designed strapless mermaid gown made with French Aleçon lace. The stunning bridal look was completed with a scalloped sweetheart neckline, hand-embroidered appliques, a flowing chapel-length train, and a modest wreath headband.
In a black suit with a crisp white shirt and black tie, her husband, on the other hand, looked dashing. In June 2015, the Broadway legend confirmed her engagement to Brown by posting an Instagram photo of her diamond ring.
On the social media platform, the actress also announced her marriage by posting portraits of her wedding band. The 41-year-old singer was initially hesitant to share photos from her wedding day on social media because it was her third time down the aisle.
In the end, her husband assured her that she was free to be happy and enjoy the moment. “I never pass judgment on you.” I never have a negative impression of you. While proposing to Benanti, he said, “I never fault you for your life.”
In 2016, she told W magazine about the experience, saying that while it may not appear to be the most romantic thing in the world, it was extremely romantic for her because she felt seen.

Benanti previously had two long-term relationships. She married Chris Barron, the Spin Doctors’ lead vocalist, in 2005, but the couple divorced after only a year together. In 2007, she married actor Steven Pasquale, but the couple divorced in 2013, after nearly six years of marriage.
“After almost six years of marriage, Steven Pasquale and Laura Benanti are amicably filing for divorce,” the couple said in a statement to Broadway.com in 2013. They’re still friends, and they’re still in love.”
Parents of a Lovely Daughter
Benanti and Brown welcomed their first child, Ella Rose Benanti-Brown, in February 2017 after two years of marriage. Ella weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces, and measured 22 inches when she was born in Mt. Sinai West with the Midwifery of Manhattan in New York City.
The pregnancy was wonderful news for the couple, who had previously suffered a miscarriage. Benanti described her daughter as independent, similar to her mother, but also witty. “She, like myself, laughs at her jokes,” she told People in 2019.
“She enjoys doing things she isn’t supposed to do.” The actress loves watching her child grow up in her and her husband’s love.
