Kit Harington, an English actor, and his wife, Rose Leslie, have revealed that they are expecting their second child together. During an appearance on The Jimmy Falon Show on February 3, the 36-year-old celebrity claimed that his kid is “about to have the shock of his life.”
He stated:
“Which is that he’s going to acquire a sibling.”
Harington and Leslie already have a 2-year-old son. Kit Harington then added to his remarks by mentioning how his mentality changed when the pair were expecting their first child together.
He stated:
“I’m scared to death. For nine months, you feel like you’re walking on clouds and dancing over fields of daisies – at least, the guy does. But the reality check is significantly shorter this time. “You quickly become practical.”

Kit Harington and Rose Leslie were friends long before they co-starred in HBO’s Game of Thrones. In October 2011, they began filming for the second season of the show, in which he portrayed Jon Snow and she played Ygritte.
In an interview with People Magazine, Rose stated:
“We knew each other before we began working on Game of Thrones. Working opposite him was always a pleasure, and it was a benefit that we got along in real life since it made our roles more convincing.”
According to Harington, the pair fell in love while filming the second season of Game of Thrones in Iceland.
He said, ”
“The three weeks we spent in Iceland filming the second season. Because the scenery is stunning, the Northern Lights are awe-inspiring, and I fell in love there. It’s incredibly simple to fall in love if you’re already attracted to someone and they portray your love interest in the program.”
When they were seen having dinner together in London in August 2012, the couple confirmed their relationship. They split up for a short period a year later but reconnected within three months of their separation.
A source informed Us Magazine at the time:
“It’s informal right now, and they’re having a good time. They are not yet living together or doing anything else.”
Kit Harington and Rose Leslie made their red carpet debut at the Olivier Awards in April 2016, after keeping their affair hidden for a few years. After living together for almost a year, the couple confirmed their engagement in September 2017. They married in June 2018 at Kirkton of Rayne church in Scotland, with Game of Thrones costars Peter Dinklage, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, and Emilia Clarke. After announcing their pregnancy in September of the previous year, the couple became parents to a baby boy in February 2021.
