Useful Deception is a vengeance drama that follows the lives of two people who are diametrically opposed. The program is directed by Lee Soo-hyun, who has worked on several hit films including Arise, Witch’s Café, and Shooting Stars.

The forthcoming suspense K-Drama Beneficial Fraud on tvN promises to be a fascinating show as its actors play distinct characters that bring out the best in the riveting plot. Chun Woo-hee takes on the part of the feminine lead. The Melo is My Environment actress will play Lee Ro-um. Lee Ro-um is a scam artist with exceptional persuasive abilities. The scammer, who lacks sensitivity, uses her intellect, multiple identities, and flamboyance to deceive people and steal their money.
Kim Dong-wook, the protagonist of The Guest, co-stars with her. Dong-wook will portray Han Moo-young. Han Moo-young, a youthful barrister, is the polar antithesis of Lee Ro-um. Moo-young is an empathic individual who genuinely cares about others. While empathy is a desirable trait to have, Han Moo-empathy young’s caused him to become so involved with others that it was harmful to his own health, prompting him to seek psychiatric help. An unexpected turn of events brought the two characters together and enabled them to work together to achieve their final objective of exacting vengeance on a shared adversary.

Kim Dong-wook, the forthcoming show’s protagonist, began his work as a performer in student-made short films and other small parts. His debut came with a minor part in the popular TV series Coffee Prince, which was followed by the movie office smash Take Off.

Good Deception will rejoin director Lee Soo-hyun and You Are My Spring actor Kim Dong-wook, who previously collaborated on MBC’s K-drama Locate Me In Your Memory.
