Attiyah and Ramona Shakir are Khalil Sakir’s loving and supportive parents. Their constant support has played an important role in Khalil’s professional success. His father, Attiyah, was a master sergeant in the Marines. He spent his youth in Hawaii and Japan until the sixth grade. Later, the family settled in Southern California. Khalil Shakir is an exceptional wide receiver for the Buffalo Bills in the National Football League. The Buffalo Bills picked him in the fifth round (148th overall) in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Tyreese Shakir, Khalil’s younger brother, is a talented defensive back and rising sophomore at Portland State University, an FCS institution.

Sayler Shakir, Khalil Shakir’s wife, started their love affair while attending Boise State University. Sayler, a skilled soccer player, and Khalil, a top wide receiver on the football team, met while attending the same institution. After dating for a year and a half, the pair got engaged on March 29, 2022. They had their wedding on March 13, 2023, in the picturesque hills of Northern California, producing a spectacular celebration. Ruby Hill Winery, decorated with roses, foliage, and glittering lights, was the ideal backdrop for their big day.
Their loved ones surrounded them as they joyfully and excitedly celebrated their nuptials. Khalil is now working to lead the Buffalo Bills NFL club to their first AFC Conference title in decades. Sayler is constantly there to encourage him and provide unfailing support. It’s great to see such a caring and supportive couple go through life together.
